Friday morning
Leave Farnborough at nine, have breakfast on board and land at Marrakech Menara before lunch, local time. A car waits at the steps and the riad is twenty minutes away.
Two days in the Palmeraie
Long lunches by the pool, the souks at dusk and dinner on a rooftop above the medina. If you want the Atlas, a driver can have you in the mountains by mid-morning.
Under four hours door to door is shorter than the drive to Cornwall on a bank holiday.
Sunday evening
Fly back after dinner and land in London before midnight. A midsize jet seats the whole family with room for the shopping.
