How we check every operator before you fly

Audits, pilot hours and insurance: the checks behind every aircraft we put you on.

The paperwork

Every operator we use holds a UK or EU air operator certificate. We check it is current before every booking, not once a year.

The people

Captains need at least 3,000 hours and recurrent simulator training every six months. Every flight has two pilots, whatever the size of the jet.

We would rather tell you a jet is not available than put you on one we have not checked.

The aircraft

We read the maintenance log, ask about open defects and confirm £500m of liability cover with Contrail named on the policy. Ask for any of it and we will send it with your quote.
